CBSE will declare the result of NEET 2017 on June 8 in online mode. Candidates can check their NEET 2017 result by entering their roll number and date of birth through the link given on this page. The NEET cut off 2017 will also be released in online mode at the time of declaration of the NEET result 2017. The cut off NEET 2017 will be the lowest possible score required by a candidate in the NEET result to qualify for medical collage admissions and will be derived on the basis of the NEET result 2017. The result of NEET 2017 will be available in the form of a score card consisting of the candidates Name, Date of Birth, total percentile score, all India Rank, marks secured in each subject, total marks secured,Cut off for 15% All India Quota seats along with NEET qualified or non qualified standard.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Nation Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 on May. The All India level medical entrance exam was conduced for UG admissions to around 90,000 seats (65,000 MBBS & 25,000 BDS) in all Government Medical Colleges, private Medical Colleges and Deemed Universities in India. More than 11 lakh students registered for NEET 2017, which was conduced in 10 languages at 1921 Exam Centres in 103 cities. It must be noted that to qualify though the result of NEET 2017, a candidates belonging to general category will have to secure a minimum of 50 percentile marks in NEET result 2017. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) Scheduled Tribe (ST) Other Backward Classes (OBC) will have to acquire a minimum of 40 percentile in the exam. With respect to candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped (PH) categories, the minimum score to obtain will be 45 percentile in NEET. The percentile score will be determined on the basis of higher marks secured in all India common merit list. NEET 2017 will serve as the only entrance test in India for admissions to undergraduate medical and dental programmes in the country, apart from AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS, according to a Supreme Court verdict on NEET in 2016.

How to check NEET 2017 Results

Candidates can check below for the procedure to check of NEET 2017.

  • To check NEET results 2017, candidates have to click on the above mentioned link
  • After clicking in the link, candidates have to provide their NEET 2017 roll number password
  • After furnishing all the details, candidates will directed to their NEET 2017 score card
  • Candidates are advised to check all particulars mentioned in NEET 2017 result and take a print out of it
  • The result of NEET 2017 will be valid for the current year only, i.e academic session (2017-2018)

  • The NEET result 2017 will be declared along with the NEET 2017 Cut Off only in online mode by the CBSE on June 8, 2017. Candidates will not be sent their NEET result or Score Card 2017 by post or any other offline means.
  • The NEET 2017 Cut Off, which will be formulated on the basis of the basis of the NEET 2017 result, will enable candidates to know whether they have qualified for admissions from among the 11 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam for the 90,000 available MBBS/BDC seats in medical colleges across the country.
  • The NEET result will be applicable for admissions to all medical colleges of India except for AIIMS and JIPMER which will conduct their own medical entrance examinations.

After the declaration of NEET 2017 result, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET 2017 counselling in the month of July, 1017, tentatively, for admissions to 15% all India Quota seats in government medical and dental colleges across India. Further, the counselling in government, private and deemed medical universities will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical education of each state for their respective states.

After NEET Counselling 2017, the MCC will declare seat allotment result after both rounds of counselling under 15% All India Quota seats. Further, candidates have to report at allotted medical and dental colleges b efore the last date. This must also be noted that all the MBBS and BDS seats which will be left vacant after 15% all India Quota counselling will be surrendered to the respective states to be filed through state counselling.
