TN 12th HSC – Higher Secondary Certificate Board Results 2019

The DGE – Directorate of Government Examination Tamil Nadu is responsible for conducting the SSLC examination (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) for the Class 12th students every year. Nearly 11 lakh students have appeared the HSC Higher Secondary Certificate examination all over the state.

Tamil Nadu DGE will declare the Higher Secondary Certificate i.e. class 12th examination on 19th April 2019. The much-awaited results are going to out after the students who appeared in the examination can check for their results through the official websites: tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in and dge1.tn.nic.in/. Based on the students passing percentage marks, the board will analyze and decide the score of all the districts.

Students are sincerely requested for keep verifying the official websites for the HSC exam results 2019.

Last year, the TN HSC 12th exam results were declared on 16th May 2018.

9,82,097 students had appeared for the HSC exams in 2018. Virudhunagar had the highest pass percentange of 98.55, and Kanyakumari with 98.17 per cent was the next one among districts.

TN Board 12th HSC Results 2019: How to Find Results

  • Visit or check the Official Web Site at: tnresults.nic.in or examresults.net
  • Find and Click on the ‘TN HSC’ results tab to display the result on the screen
  • Enter Admit card number or Roll Number
  • Now the result will be displayed on the screen
  • You can Download the result and make a print out and keep it for future use.

Theory Examination:

Students need to obtain minimum score of 30 marks out of 150 marks in theory to pass the examination.

Practical examination:

Students need to obtain the score minimum 40 marks out of 50 marks to pass the examination.

As per the sources, around 7 students had appeared for the +2 examination this year conducted on March 1st 2019.

TN 12th Results 2019 via Email and SMS.

As we have television news and social media available on internet, students appeared for the exam can get their exam results by SMS at free of charges just by sending their registration number and date of birth in the format of DD / MM / YYYY as an example shown here: “tnboard12<blank space>regino,date of birth” to: 09282232585 or +919282232585.

Example: students have to send as: “tnboard12 123456,01/04/1995” to 09285532585. Here the student’s registration number is ‘123456’ and date birth is ‘01/04/1995’.

The students can also get their result updates through Email and SMS.

Revaluation the marks:

Once the TN HSC Results 2019 will be declared, students can apply for the revaluation of their marks according to their choice. Students have applied for Revaluation for the class 12th, the marks obtained after revaluation will be the final and no revaluation will be entertained after that and this should be noted by the students. At this process, if a student got any increased or decreased marks shall be added to the TN HSC Final Result mark Sheet. The Three member team of Subject Experts will analyze the revaluation process.

Supplementary Examination 2019

The students who didn’t get the pass marks will have to appear for the same exam in supplementary exams. Now the students are eager to get their supplementary exam result soon. The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary School Examination will issue the HSC supplementary exam results in July 2019 at its official website. Students who appeared for the supplementary exams are suggested to visit the official website for all steams like Arts, Commerce, and Science to get the results.

Provision of Mark Sheets 2019

The State Education Board of Tamil Nadu awards the Final Mark Sheets to the Class 12th students. For Admission purpose or for counseling purpose, temporarily Score card / Mark sheet can be downloaded by the students from the official website. Later, the DGE – Directorate of Government Examinations will distribute the Original Certificates to the passed students within 20 days.

In 2018, +2 Public Examinations among the Tamil Nadu districts, Virudhunagar district got the first place with 97.05% pass per cent and the Villupuram district got the last place with 83.35% pass per cent.
